The Collective's members work for themselves, as entrepreneurs, artists, designers and makers. We tackle projects together and strive to create a more beatuiful world through out work.
As freelancers, consultants, and solopreneurs, it's hard to do what we do - hustling to ensure consistent deal flow (so we can live too!). Who wouldn't love more time to think ahead & chase the projects and collaborations that our souls crave?
On Saturday March 12th, The Collective is holding an intimate gathering of leading indepdent works. Together, we willl co-create greater stability to go after bigger clients that sustain us, and more importantly, move us closer to the world we know is possible.
We can sit around all day and create exciting projects, and talk about how we want to change work. However, it's critical that we look to our clients to see the upcomoing trends, flows of capital, and future needs of our clients so we can best position our companies and set our future collaborative efforts.
You left the traditional work place in search of freedom and the ability to exercise your genius. You worked hard to establish a brand for yourself, tune into your passions, and develop your natural skills to make the world a more beautiful place.
When you take a step back, it's incredible to see what we've accomplished. Cubans say, "dinero por el aire" which means making money out of nothing.
We've built something that was not there before. Together we envisioned a new world, a world where the health of our work, our bodies, our community, and our earth are beautifully reliant on those around us.
We've been cheerleaders for one another, going out of our way to make referrals, putting in good words to prospective partners, and bringing each other into contracts whenever possible.
Now, standing atop the mountains we've already summited, there is a new vista: an era where we leave our silos and begin to more deliberately and consistently co-create. We have only just begun to see the magic made possible by collaboration.
This is a call to intentional creatives, freelancers, contractors, and consultants to band together and once again redefine work and its evolving role in our lives.
